This week blogger Sarah Anguish shares her favourite colour with us …..
Thank you for inviting me to share my love of colour. I’m Sarah, a mum of three who can be found over at boorooandtiggertoo.com. I’m currently on maternity leave following the addition of Piglet at the end of last year but usually an NHS administrator. A northerner at heart who became a tourist who stayed following a move to the Norfolk Coast where we visited on holiday as a child.
I love the candy pastel colours, the soft pinks and purples especially. Purple has to be my signature colour and one that I feel happiest surrounding myself with. My stationery habit is filled with pastel coloured pens and notebooks which gives me a warm glow when I come to use them – who said you have to write in black or blue pen all your life?
As a child I tried to steer away from pink. Having an older sister who loved all things pink, I opted for blue instead, just to be different. Instead of the pink bedroom that she had I loved my small box room with pale blue wallpaper complete with matching duvet cover. Slowly over the years I have drifted across to the pastel shades with purple my favourite. Although blue has stayed with me, as I prefer to dress in navy blue than any other colour.
Having moved home this year we haven’t managed to decorate as yet but I hope to cover over the vivid orange wall that is in our bedroom with a much more soothing colour. With purple being my signature colour I’m looking for a dusky purple that will add warm and a splash of colour to the room.
Thanks so much for sharing your colour loves with us Sarah!
Aww, thank you so much for having me. I’m loving this series, so interesting to see how we all love different colours

Little Peach is always asking ‘Mummy what’s your favourite colour’ as I always reply pink and purple, which to be honest have always been the case but just recently I think Peach is becoming top of the list.
